Name: Celestina Sekai Daimon.

Age: 19 (213 in total, Birthday is May 21st).

Height: Human - 5'9, Monster - 6'3.

Monster type/species: (Japanese) Shikigami.

Species Description: Shikigami are a species of Japanese demon created from the resurrection of the dead, most often souls of Yokai, through dark magic. They are said to be invisible for most of the time, usually made visible by banning them inside a paper doll to break their illusions. Some Shikigami can also sometimes appear in the form of an animal, most often a bird or cat. They can only be conjured into the human world through a complex ceremony that binds the lost soul to the conjurer's life energy, turning the spirit into a Shikigami under the conjurer's will. With a strong master, a Shikigami can possess animals or manipulate human beings. However, if the master is weak willed, careless, or corrupt, the Shikigami can overpower him or her and drain all of their life energy. Normally, Shikigami are summoned by Onmyoji to perform risky orders such as spying, stealing, or assassination. Because of the Shikigami's shapeshifting abilities, they can choose what their main form looks like to match their personality. However, some choose to remain in the same form as they were when they were ghosts.

Weakness:
Paper Dolls - A trained Onmyoji may be able to banish her temporarily inside a paper doll.
Trees, paper, and wooden objects - Due to contrasting elements, anything wooden can weaken her water-related abilities. Wood's absorbing abilities also takes in discarded life energy and transfers it anew, making it difficult for her to replenish her stamina in heavily forested areas as Life Energy is constantly being sapped away from the dead and transferred from one tree to the next.
Holy Magic - Because of how the ritual that resurrected her used dark magic, holy magic can hurt her and might even be able to undo the enchantment that keeps her alive.
Opposing Elements - Electricity and Ice are very effective against her Water element, and can deal the most damage to her while swimming in a body of water. Cold weather may also affect her stamina as the serpents linked to her spine that act as symbiotes are weak to the cold and hibernate during then, making it difficult to use her special abilities without straining her body. When in a land form, Fire, Holy, and Light-based attacks may also be effective against her Dark and Shadow-based abilities.
Weak Spot - If the serpents connected to her spine get injured, she may lose consciousness until fully healed, appearing in a comatose state. This is due to them acting as a symbiote, keeping her body stable by feeding off the life-energy of others.
Curse of the Shikigami - Like most Shikigami, learning her true name via the ancient Naming Magics can bound her to a Summoner, teleporting her to a Summoner to assist with a task whenever that hidden name is written on a special type of talisman. Even if she does not agree with them, she is unable to return back to where she was prior until her assigned task is completed or if the Summoner gives permission to. A Shikigami may also regain their free-will if the Summoner dies, but are unable to harm their Summoner directly.

Major Skills:
Enhanced strength - She can lift near twice her weight.
Illusionary Magic - She can create minor illusions to make herself invisible, appear more frightening, or to confuse people. The illusion usually works on a specific target, but she can sometimes affect multiple people in a short range with great focus. The duration of the illusion lasts less than three minutes as of current.
Telekinesis - She can only move objects lighter than herself. Often used to steal wallets. Things can only be affected by this ability as long as her eyes are focused on the target, and cancels out if her vision is blocked or if she loses focus. Her irises also glow when this ability is in effect.
Well Grounded - This monster has the innate ability to ground themselves, allowing them to avoid harmful mundane shocks and electricity, as well as provide some resistance to more powerful shocks (would still not recommend getting hit by lightning or grabbing a downed power line).

Minor Skills:
Minor Shapeshifting - She can temporarily transform into a small animal for quick escapes. This ability may last short durations at her current level. Most common forms include a fox, wolf, shark, or snake.
Enhanced senses - She has better senses of hearing and smelling that average humans, being able to recognize certain people before seeing them or using them to navigate places.
Gills - In her aquatic form, she is able to breathe underwater.
* Lesser Aquatic Adaptation - Can hold their breath for extended periods of time under water, up to a full hour. Can also see underwater.
Sure Footed Stride - This monster is incredibly at keeping it's footing under adverse conditions, able to resist inclement weather conditions that might otherwise rob them of stable footing. Also this monster increases the amount of distance they can fall without getting hurt.
Resolve of Stone: This monster has earned the ability to keep cool and collected under pressure (even if they don't show it on the outside). When there back is to the wall they have the determination to keep on going, giving them the ability to shrug off mundane discouragements and take twice as long to fatigue physically.

Personality: She can sometimes be stubborn or rude around people. She also has little sense of direction, easily getting lost around certain areas unless she picks up a familiar scent trail. Due to her past, she is uncomfortable with expressing herself around strangers and tries to distant herself from socializing. However, she may eventually overcome this over time once she gets to know them more. Stealing is somewhat of a habit to her, since she likes to test her skills. However, she may return the stuff she has stolen if she likes the person enough. She can be easily angered by people who seem annoying to her, and is not hesitant to attack someone if they push over her limits. When under great stress or fear, the serpentine symbiotes attached to her may cause her to act upon instinct to survive. Memories during such situations become fuzzy to her afterwards.

Extra Facts:
- Her serpents are named Anita and Selec.
- Selec is the snake with red eyes. She is aggressive, thinks herself as dominant and frightening, and perverted. She often focuses on satisfying her own wants, so her and Celestina don't always see eye-to-eye on things. Partially taken from Celestina's conscious, she has a strong fondness of foxes.
- Anita is the snake with blue eyes. She is submissive to Selec, and is kind, gentle, and usually shy around others, hiding behind Celestina when a strangers comes up close.
- Anita and Selec replenish Celestina's stamina by biting into a living being and draining them of their life-energy.
- Her father is Agathos Daemon, a human former Monster Hunter, and mother was Mizuko, a Ningyo.
- She likes to spell her surname Daemon with an " i " in place of the " e ".



Character's Background: - Celestina's parents were Agathos Daemon, a Romanian human and former Monster Hunter, and a Japanese Ningyo yokai named Mizuko. Although she appeared as a normal human when born, being part human and part yokai left a possibility of her yokai traits or abilities to become more apparent when older and so her parents kept a careful eye on her, making sure she stayed out of trouble. During most of her childhood, she lived in a house her parents built within a forest outside of Foxfire Village. As a child, Celestina enjoyed walking around in the forest and playing with the children who lived in Foxfire village. Unlike them however, she had heightened senses to the supernatural and sometimes attracted other Yokai when the human children were not around, most often young Kitsune who liked to toy with the humans' gullibility. One unfortunate day however, near Celestina's 16th birthday, a hired Shinigami by the name of Delm used his abilities to enhance and hasten the growth of Celestina's yokai traits, causing suspicion from the human children and other villagers when she gradually began to look more and more inhuman. Delm then took the identity of a Buddhist Monk and easily persuaded a majority of the villagers that Celestina and Mizuko were possessed by maleviolent yokai, arming them with weapons and leading them to their house in the forest to set fire to it. Celestina was awakened by the smoke and managed to escape the house in time to Delm's surprise, the fate of her mother remained unknown however. Her father Agathos was away at the time collecting lumber for the upcoming winter when he noticed the smoke from the fire and hurried to defend Celestina when Delm ordered the villagers to capture her for her 'exorcism'. Celestina became saddened and frustrated seeing her father get outnumbered and beaten up badly for her sake. From the emotional stress, she gave in to her yokai instincts and hastedly broke free of being restrained and fought back against the attackers, her speed frightening and scattering them back into the forest. The raging Celestina followed a few of them back into the village, unaware Delm had prepared a backup plan. The Shinigami let loose a pack of ferocious Barghests to hunt down any surviving humans and to distract Celestina as he crept up behind her and snatched away her soul, taking it back to his contractor, a fallen angel named Lucia whom had an obsession with her father. Lucia had hoped to use Celestina to persuade her father into loving her, but after a long journey making his way through the Castle of Illusion, Agathos refused Lucia's offer as it would only be a 'fantasy' not the 'true reality'. Upset, Lucia ordered Delm to attack and defeat Agathos, but when he failed, she resorted to sacrificing him instead to prevent Agathos from being able to reclaim and resurrect his daughter's soul. Before Lucia could make her escape and set another trap, Agathos used an enchanted weapon he acquired to trap her inside as he shattered the Yata Mirror that was the source of her illusions. In a last effort to save his daughter, Agathos then rushed a ceremony mentioned in a Grimoire that was handed to him by a Vampire named Zephyr Dorean. The ceremony was able to resurrect Celestina's soul into her comatose body that was left in care of a Sage in Hyuga Temple, a distant village near Foxfire Village. It did, however, come with two side-effects. One being that in order to bring Celestina back to life, it had to take away Agathos', trapping him in Purgatory until eventually released with help from an old friend of his named Ronove. The second being that it brought Celestina back as a Shikigami, making her appear a bit different than average Ningyo as well as added abilities. An extra and unexpected side-effect was that two Lost Souls had also attempted to possess her comatose body while her soul was away, but now that it had returned, the two Lost Souls, Selec and Anita, were fused together with Celestina in the form of two serpents growing out of her spine where wings would have grown. After traveling for a long while, she eventually got reunited with her father, though her personality was much different than her once gentle and innocent self, now more stubborn and cautious. With some persuasion by her father, she was eventually enrolled as a student into Monster Academy to socialize and improve on her skills. Her father also became a Defense Against Humans teacher at the academy to make sure she doesn't get herself into trouble.

Roleplay Info:
Roleplay example: Script - Celestina: She frowned a little at the topic being discussed by her friends at a table of the Cafeteria. She disliked humans and the terms they gave creatures they feared. At least she and Mirra had something to agree about unless that bit of information came from her own head. "Heh, to me, the humans should be calling themselves the monsters." She took another bite of enchilada and swallowed.

Minor Skill: Manipulate Water - A water sprite can manipulate water through the air as long as she has access to a pool or source of it. They mostly use this in helping clean the school and can perform minor chores because of it. Also they inherently know where the closest body of drinkable water.
- Air Sprite:
Minor Skill: Wispy Flight - By turning itself into a semi ephemeral state (half there half not) a Air sprite can zip around and fly about, squeezing through small openings and the like. Unfortunately while in this state they are heavily affected by prevailing winds and must be careful not to blow away.
- Geodeling: A small rock creature, usually four limb-ed with a single crystal for an eye.
Minor Skill -   Limited Tremorsense: A Geodeling doesn't really see, but can feel vibrations in the ground to sense it's surroundings. A Geodeling can sense an object or being within a 10 foot radius around it as long as the thing in question is in contact with a surface the Geodeling touches.


Inventory:
Naginata - One of her favorite weapons to train with. It was gifted to her by a vagrant in purple garb. Currently in the possession of her father so wouldn't endanger the other students.
Purple Gemstone - A jewel carved in the shape of a Magatama by a friend of hers in Japan. It supposedly brings good luck to its wielder and banishes nightmares.
Carved Wooden Mask - A mask she carved from wood in the forest. It was made to resemble the fox mask she stole from Kalub and Shouhei during their picnic.
Locket Memento - A locket that used to belong to Erich. She originally pickpocketed it to get the attention of the half-dragon slayer and planned to return it shortly after their race. However, she did not expect him to actually gift it to her after she lost the race. Maybe she could find something important to put inside it?
(Recovered) Undelivered Gift - A present from Daniel to Alrume for Valentines Day. He was unable to give it to her because he was late to the dance and Alrume began to have feelings for Moxi after an incident involving spiked food. Celestina swiped this from Daniel after he had an arguement with Alrume in the cafeteria. It was recovered by Daniel when he saw it in Celestina's room.
Rubber Bird - A gift from Spindleman. It was given to her after she fell from a tree and landed on his head while in her fox-form. Although she sees no use in such a toy, it could provide some benefits in relieving stress on bad days.
Firebird Feathers - Colorful tail-feathers plucked from Atlas in his sleep. They are pretty valuable in the market and might also prove useful to light up dark areas with their bright glow.
(Returned) Balmung - An enchanted sword belonging to Erich. It was orignally an enchanted sword forged by Wayland the Smith for Sigurd but rebuilt by Odin for Siegfried. Although strong and valuable, I couldn't take much more of his lecturing. He's just about as worse as my father's sword Ex-Solaris.
