Celestina is using an illusion to distract the spirits as she and Kei make a break for it towards the center of the forest.

RP so far:

Celestina: After their briefing in class of their Mystics and Magic assignment, Celestina walked over towards the forest and rested against a tree for a while until it was time for the assignment to begin. When it turned 3:00 am, she was awakened by the ringtone on her cellphone and slowly opened her eyes and let out a low yawn as she stretched out her arms and stood up. She leaned against a tree as she looked around at the now gloomy-looking woods, eventually spotting what looked like a letter and approached to examine what was written on it. "Welcome to Limbo... if you wish to survive you will have to work as a team...get to the center of the forest and retrieve the pure essence of the lost child...the lost souls are out to find you and i am sure that in the time you took to read this letter the souls have already gotten your scent...be wary and stay strong. -Cadeyrn O'Connell." she read out loud and sighed. She didn't understand how fighting spirits and collecting essence would teach her how to improve in her illusion magic, but he was the teacher and what he says goes, she guessed.

Kei: She was already settled down in the forest after the briefing, she curled up in a tree relaxing before the assignment, her alarm went off at 3am. "Lets rock and roll" She mumbled rubbing her eyes and slipping down out of the tree sweeping her bangs out of her face "Alright, you ready?" She asked calmly feeling her fur bristle up as she closed her eyes and took a deep breath looking out into the forest. "Getting to the center won't be hard, not with the two of us at least, I guess all we really need to worry about is those souls the mutt told us about." She said looking over the note then turning back around, her eyes glowing softly and tail flicking back and forth. Her ears twitched lightly and her tail flicked slightly as she walked along running her fingers through her bangs pulling them off her forehead her skin crawled with the chill feeling those other souls around them closing in fast as she headed along letting her feet take her down familiar paths to the forest center.

Celestina: She nodded in agreement with Kei and examined around the dense forest. The atmosphere was definitely eerie and uncomfortable, giving off a dark, cold, and gloomy feeling. Her spine shivered a little as she took a couple steps forward, but kept a pretty calm expression on her face. "Yeah. It should be fine as long as we get this done faster than the spirits can find us." She wished she had her naginata along with her, but she remembered the teacher mentioning that physical damage wouldn't work on the spirits, only magic, so the weapon would probably get in the way. "I'm not sure how effective telekinesis or illusion magic will be against them, it would have at least been useful if he had taught me some new skills first to defend against them with." she muttered as she followed behind Kei through the forest. She wasn't very familiar with the forest, so she let her lead ahead to avoid getting lost since Kei seemed like she knew the right direction the the heart of the forest.

Kei: "Well I'm sure your illusions will be more effective than my luck effect, I wasn't expecting that damn mutt to be of much use anyhow" She shrugged walking along continuing "Think you can keep up, I want to get this done as fast as possible so we can get back and pass this class" She said looking back at celestina

Celestina: She smirked as she continued walking beside Kei through the forest. "Yeah, I can." she replied and then looked around cautiously through the thickening forest. "I'd also prefer getting this done fast to walking around here for several hours."
